Alcohol Officer Wanted at Osby Municipality

Our alcohol officer has chosen to seek new challenges, do you want to take over the baton? In connection with the recruitment, we are making a change to the position. Previously responsible for both Osby Municipality and Östra Göinge Municipality regarding alcohol handling, we now choose to combine different competencies. The primary goal is for Osby Municipality to hire a competent alcohol officer, in addition to this, we see that the person has competencies in one of the following areas: environmental protection, health protection, or food.

The Environmental and Building Unit is responsible for supervision, testing, control, and advice according to the Environmental Code, the Food Act, the Planning and Building Act, as well as legislation regarding alcohol, tobacco, tobacco-free nicotine products, and other age-restricted goods.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The role includes handling and supervision of cases related to alcohol and age-restricted goods. The tasks also include handling other cases within the unit's area, where the focus may be adapted based on your knowledge and experience.

The role also includes close collaboration with corresponding officers in Östra Göinge Municipality within the area of alcohol and age-restricted goods. As part of the collaboration, work may need to be performed on-site in Östra Göinge if necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a suitable university education or other education that the employer deems equivalent. We see that you are a self-sufficient person with good collaboration skills and personal maturity.

The work involves many external contacts, and it is important that you can communicate clearly and legally, while also providing good service. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

A driving license (B) is necessary for the position, and you must have a good command of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

Experience in public authority operations is an advantage.

OTHER

There is an opportunity to combine the work with being a part-time firefighter. Assessment will be made based on the needs of the operation.
